By Bus

Botolan and Zambales are serviced by Victory Liner direct from their Manila depots in both Pasay (near to Manila airport) and Caloocan (situated in Manila's northern suburbs and at the end of the light rail transit) Traveling by air conditioned coach the travel time is generally around 4 hours. Air conditioned coaches leave Pasay twice daily and from Caloocan every hour on the hour. Regular buses also ply the route but take considerably longer as they do not traverse the Northern Luzon Expressway.

By private Vehicle

From Manila take the North Expressway, exit at the Olongapo Exit and follow the Olongapo and S.B.M.A. (Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority) signs.
Shortly after Dinalupihan you will pass the "Roosevelt National Park" and then you will have the option of taking the S.B.M.A. Tollway, (Left) or the National Road, (Straight ahead). We suggest you take the Tollway which passes through the "Subic Freeport". The road is very good and not only is it shorter but it cuts out Olongapo City proper and the traffic congestion.

Once inside the Freeport be sure to follow the Traffic rules, as running Stop signs, speeding etc. will not be tolerated and you will surely get a traffic ticket if you do.
After passing the Toll gate you will be stoped at a check point, this is to control the exit of Duty Free goods etc.

Leaving the check point the first intersection you will reach is the Rizal Highway Junction, turn Right here, next is a traffic light, for Zambales go straight ahead. After passing the Traffic lights on your Left, you will pass the Marina and Yacht Club, turn Left at the Next Traffic Light, take the first right, Canal St., and follow straight on to the Kalakalan Gate to exit the Freeport Zone. Upon crossing the bridge, turn Left back onto the National Highway which will take you through Castillejos, San Marcellino, (here you have a choice, straight on, known as the Short Cut or left via San Antonio) the roads meet again just before San Narciso. Followed by San Felipe and Cabangan.
Continue on through Botolan township until you reach Iba, the provincial capital. Stay on the main road and, after passing through the town proper, you will see the airport on the left. A little further on you will see Palmera Garden Hotel and Beach Resort on the left side of the road.
